Because of the lack of dlopen or similar functionality for Wii homebrew development, a direct recompile of BennuGD for the Wii is not possible. This project aims to create a version of BennuGD (and the required Wii dependencies) that integrates all the functionality offered by the official ... [More] modules of BennuGD in one single binary but keeping the number of required source code changes to the BennuGD base as low as possible. It could also serve as a basis for ports to other platforms that require static linking. Please note that this project is HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL and there's no usable code available yet. bennugd-wii has been superseeded by bennugd-monolithic, which creates the monolithic approach in a much cleaner manner. This project hosts the BennuGD bindings for libVLC's libvlc_media_player so that the user can play any video format supported by libVLC easily from their BennuGD code. The project also serves as a repository so that you can download (win32 & MacOS X Intel) library packs for playing popular video formats in BennuGD.

Smart Fpg EditorSmart Fpg Editor is an easy-to-use, user friendly and powerful FPG editor tool. FPGs are graphic collections used by certain compilers/languages such as Bennu, Fenix or Div Games Studio. Smart Fpg Editor was conceived as a painless FPG editor, to fullfill the lack of several ... [More] characteristics I missed in existing FPG editors, and with the ease of use in mind. FeaturesAlthough still in beta development phase, Smart Fpg Editor features most of the basic characteristics of an FPG editor plus many others. To mention: GeneralSimple and clean interface. Easy to use and intuitive. Multilanguage (development language is English but Smart Fpg Editor is currently in Spanish and English). FPG Creation and LoadingSupport for 8, 16 and 32 bpp FPGs (Bennu/Fenix/DIV graphic collections). Loading of DIV font files as FPGs. Working with graphicsSupport for lots of graphic formats, including most popular such as MAP, PNG, GIF, JPG, BMP... Adding multiple files at the same time. Conversion of the added graphic to the depth of the FPG. Color quantization to FPG palette when working with 8bpp FPGs. Allows removing transparency when working with 16 and 32 bpp FPGs. Graphic viewer with zoom and transparency capabilities. Edition of graphic properties. Control point editionVisual control point editor (you can edit control points in the graphic viewer). Advanced (list-based) control point editor, with facilities to insert control points in several ways. Control points of more than one graphic can be edited at a once and basic mathematic operators and WIDTH and HEIGHT parameters can be used as control point coordinates. Missing featuresThere are some features that have not yet been implemented but are desired for future releases. For example: 1bpp FPGs support. Exporting graphics to MAP, PNG and other formats. Associate known file extensions. Clipboard operations support. Drag&Drop support. Configuration options. The real list is of course, greater, but with this you can have an idea of the current limitations to compare it with other editors. ScreenshotsNote: The screenshots were taken on a system with Spanish as the preferred language and therefore the application is in this language, but Smart Fpg Editor is also in English. [Less]

Because of the lack or a refusal to allow usage of dlopen or similar functionality in some systems, a direct recompile of BennuGD for the Wii, PSP, iOS, Android and other embedded systems is not possible. This project is a modification of BennuGD (and the required dependencies) that implements ... [More] all the functionality offered by the official modules of BennuGD in one single binary but keeping the number of required source code changes to the BennuGD base as low as possible and by keeping a modular spirit as far as possible. The project also aims to implement all the needed features for correct integration with such platforms. It is also a good starting point for ports to other platforms that require static linking. bennugd-monolithic replaces and expands bennugd-wii. [Less]
