Efficient, pure binary serialisation using lazy ByteStrings. Haskell values may be encoded to and form binary formats, written to disk as binary, or sent over the network. Serialisation speeds of over 1 G/sec have been observed, so this library should be suitable for high performance scenarios.
BitsMonitor is simple C# 2.0 app that uses BITS to download files from web. It's main goal is to monitor and manage all downloads (start / suspend, cancel). New downloads may be added from application itself or a command line arguments.
A fledgling project to manage information about hardware chipsets, devices, peripherals, and full systems.
SharpBITS.NET is a .NET wrapper of the BITS API and a little Windows UI application for easier access to BITS up- and downloads. It's developed in C# (obviously), but the base wrapper can be used from any .NET application.
This is a stand-alone client application that uses the BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) API (used by services like Windows Update) to perform file downloads. Downloads are done in an intelligent manner, backing off to allow other network traffic to take priority and resuming in the event of an interrupted download.
