eboCash is currently at the alpha stage of development. What is eboCash?eboCash is a web-based personal expenses tracker, password protected and self-hosted for your privacy and security What is ... [More] eboCash NOT (yet)?A complete accounting solution, matching up every last penny in sync with your bank accounts. Why do I need my own server? Two reasons: At present, eboCash is a single-user system, so requires a separate installation of the software for each person whose expenses are being tracked. If we were to provide a central online service for tracking people's expenses, we would be storing large amounts of personal data, which introduces security and privacy concerns. This is not something the developers are interested in undertaking at the present time. Hopefully in the future, if the self-hosted software generates enough interest, we may look at providing a multi-user and/or centralised product. But for now, eboCash is simply a tool that was built for personal use, but released to the public for anyone else that might find it useful. See the Installation page for full instructions. [Less]
