BSDBuild

A self-contained and portable build system derived from the traditional 4.4BSD system. It implements Bourne configure script generation, concurrent building and it can compile IDE project files. It is portable to most operating systems and make flavors.

Lightweight replacement for autotools

mk-configure is a lightweight easy for use replacement for GNU autotools, written in bmake (portable version of NetBSD make) and POSIX tools (shell, awk etc.).

MXE (M cross environment)

MXE (M cross environment) is a Makefile that compiles a cross compiler and cross compiles many free libraries such as SDL and Qt. Thus, it provides a nice cross compiling environment for various target platforms.

scalab

Scalab is an incoming build tool (Make, Ant, SCons, ...) written in Scala. It makes builds description very easy thanks to Scala's rich expressiveness and the model used by Scalab. Moreover, Scalab offers different types of dependencies (soft dependencies, notably) which makes it possible to ... [More] describe cycles in the build graph. Furthemore, the Scalab caching model allows to make conservative approximations (i.e. no need to clean the project since the results are always right). The project is currently in stand-by. Priest

Priest is an extended monk commandline tool with functionallity not being accepted into mainline monk. It is however compatible with mainline glue and skeletons.
