I´ve been doing PHP programming since the early days of PHP4. Over the years, I´ve had to constantly re-use a lot of my code. As you probably can imagine, a whole load of Copy&Pasting was done in those days. With PHP5 I started using the object oriented capabilities of PHP to make my life ... [More] easier. With a few basic classes, I created a small framework from which to grow on. As time passed, I added onto the framework and created a tool that would allow me to create simple CRUD classes and make the administrative pages for a site by filling out a form. This turns out to be very helpful for small simple projects. The idea now is to try and make this into something truly useful for most of PHP programming Mankind. There´s little comments, a bag full of code, and I could really use a hand on making it more effective. Here's a quick help: you need smarty and crudder to run sampleApp (just download the full install) you most probably need to configure both crudder and sampleApp (sample app actually configures Smarty for you). Just look for some config.php files. They should be easy to understand Finally, you need to run apache and PHP5, and you now need mod_rewrite enabled in apache Trouble Shooting: Q: I keep getting a 500 Internal error when I run sampleApp. A: - most probably you have a problem with your mod_rewrite.
