CFQuicksite is a simple (CMS) content managment system developed in ColdFusion. Content articles are modified in an admin section and then attached to dynamci navigation links to the front end. The ... [More] database can be MsAcces, MSSQL or MYSQL and is connected to the application via ODBC or CF administrator. I use a Plesk interface for a hosted environment and it works great. It has calenders and a basic customer resource management (CRM) environment to track website responses. This is a tested and proven system; it works great for several small business clients that I have. There is not much documentation, although it is pretty easy to install and use on an any CF7 or CF8 server. see: http://DowCapSolutions.com/web/sample/ The system probably needs a complete re-write because none of it is done with a standard framework like Fusebox. It works pretty well and is easy to modify. I am looking for help to get this to the next level but want to keep it simple to implement and install. It needs a lot of clean up because there are a lot of files that are not really being used. The site was originally created from a Code-charge template and modified so that it is turnkey and easy to use. I would like to add new levels of navigation and make the admin more standardized and easy to use. [Less]

There are many ColdFusion-based CMS solutions out there. Unfortunately, I wasn't finding any great contenders that weren't also trying to be your site's core, the bedrock, or sometimes the entire ... [More] framework for the site. This project is an endeavor to create a truly site-independent CMS solution that is flexible enough to work with any site. By that nature it's going to be a little complicated to use, I'm pretty sure. But not so complicated it can't be used. We'll see how that goes. [Less]
