I am in the process of developing a couple of Tools to help make games for the cocos2d-iphone framework. WAS The tools are being developed in C# using Mono framework to ensure it could be used on ... [More] Windows as well as Mac OS X. The reason for this is simple: not all team members on a project (like artist) work on Macintosh computers. EDIT Erm ok so I have written the basic image loading for the atlas creator went back to try out the application on Mono for Mac (after not testing UI things for a while) and it turns out there is quite a couple of issues with Winforms and Mac's mono. So all development is currently on hold as I am investigating whether or not to use Silverlight, Flex or Qt instead. CURRENT I am looking at Flex and using ActionScript since the Flash player is more compatible with most platforms. Flex+AS3 is actually much much beter than I thought it would be! (Can see where most of Silverlight's ideas came from). [Less]

Aboutcocos Live is a service that tries to help iPhone Indie Game Developers by giving them an API to solve their online requirements. cocos Live is a reliable service with good bandwith, since it is ... [More] hosted in Google App Engine. cocos Live is a free service. You can host as many games as you want in cocos Live. cocos Live, as it was mentioned before, is hosted in Google App Engine. All the services that are hosted in GAE, like cocos Live, have certain quota-limitations. If one game consumes most of the available quota (probably because it is a very successful game), the owner of the game will be asked if he can help to pay for additional quotas.
