cpan2rpm makes it very easy to create RPM packages for most Perl modules hosted in CPAN. It handles downloading the tarballs, generating an RPM spec file, and running the rpmbuild commands.
CPANPLUS is an excellent tool for interfacing with the CPAN, but often we want to manage our installed set of packages all though RPM. Fedora, especially, has a large set (900+) of Perl packages. CPANPLUS::Dist::RPM provides a backend dist class that CPANPLUS can use to generate rpm spec files
