The Lucene Object Engine wraps Lucene allowing users to index, query, sort, count, filter, create, update and deleted objects using a light weight api. The engine will index objects based on their properties and allow users to query and filter on those properties. Additionally the api will allow ... The engine is useful for applications requiring filtering and search functionality similar to CNET.com's attribute filtering and can also be used for product selection applications that take user selections to limit results based on set theory (i.e. AND/OR logic).
