StepMania

StepMania is a free dance and rhythm game featuring 3D graphics, dance pad support, and a step editor. Supports Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and Xbox.

Performous

Performous is an open-source karaoke, band and dancing game where one or more players perform a song and the game scores their performances. Performous supports songs in UltraStar, Frets on Fire and StepMania formats. Microphones and instruments from SingStar, Guitar Hero and Rock Band as well as some dance pads are autodetected.

StepMania SSC (sm-ssc)

StepMania SSC (also known as sm-ssc and typoed as "sm-scc" just as often) is the continuation of StepMania, now called "StepMania 5". It primarily focuses on adding new features for themers to use/abuse, but also contains gameplay changes (Pump it Up Delays, xmode modifier) as well.

OpenITG

OpenITG is a modification of the StepMania 3.95 game engine geared toward reproducing and enhancing the In The Groove 2 arcade game, including custom songs, arcade I/O drivers, patch functionality, and many bugfixes.

sadstep

This is a student open-source project with the intention of creating a real working DanceDanceRevolution game using Qt, SDL/SFML, VLC, and a number of other libraries for sound analysis. Though the name of the application may be changed in the future, it has been code-named to SADStep after the ... [More] names of the creators, i.e. Sebastian, Adam, Daniel, Scott. At the moment there are no binary releases, however given a copy of Qt Creator you should be able to compile and run from source. No songs are provided however. Also, at the moment we are either busy transitioning the code over from primarily Qt to primarily SDL, or adding SFML support, so binary releases will be further delayed. [Less]

tanzenhosen

Tanzenhosen is (will be) a simple, cross-platform, networked multiplayer game table with no rules hard-coded, so you can all get together and play whatever you want. The first goal is to make a simple card table consisting of a table, cards, buttons for dealing (face up, face down, etc), and a ... [More] smooth network interface similar to chessnuts but more open to modification, and a little more easily ported to other platforms. For rendering I'm using openGL through pyglet, because python rules with a righteous fist and pyglet is the most amazing thing I've seen. Network-wise I'll be aiming for fidelity over latency. This thing will really be aimed at creating mouse-clicky, drag-and-droppy games, and I'm aiming for ease of expansion to different sets of pieces after cards. [Less]
