The Tango Desktop Project exists to help create a consistent graphical user interface experience for free and Open Source software.
The Telepathy project aims to provide a unified framework for all forms of real time conversations, including instant messaging, IRC, voice calls and video calls. PyXDG provides implementations of several freedesktop.org specifications. Supported specs include base directories, desktop & menu entries, the MIME database, recent files & icon themes.
libspectre is a small library for rendering Postscript documents. It provides a convenient easy to use API for handling and rendering Postscript documents. libspectre is known to work on UNIX/Linux systems although supporting other platforms (win32, macos) is planned too.
