(in my last test a take 96Kbs!). Even using only ga.js for online tracking of your web application, it size is 24Kbs todayand even with the compression Gzip that Google do it still with 10Kbs. For me, 10Kbs begins to be an acceptable size to be added in an application. But how much smaller is better! Despite being far from all the features of GA, other web analytics as Woopra, weigh much less (8.5Kbs and only 2.5Kbs with Gzip compression), but their features or compare the complexity of tracking the GA.
The DBA has emerged as an alternative to using the GA (one of the best and most widely used web analytics) with maximum performance in applications, minimum size and with the great advantage of being able to do tracking Desktop applications!
Actually the DBA have the most importants and most useds functions of GA. With the same functions names(without ""), the same parameters, in the same order and with the same returns.
Reasons why: PERFORMANCE: 1 call in LESS than a millisecond (0.001 seconds). depending on the machine SIZE: 6.8 kbs compiled. MEMORY: All features consume 0.3 Mbs.
