cocos2d-x is a multi-platform & developer-friendly C++ 2D mobile game engine, open source and released under MIT License. It is a child branch of the famous "cocos2d-iphone" project, and will keep the primary features sync with it.
MonoGame is an Open Source, OpenGL implementation of the Microsoft XNA 4 Framework. Our goal is to allow XNA developers on Windows & Windows Phone to port their games to the iOS / Android / Mac OS X, Linux, PlayStation Suite and Windows Metro.
