PhpGedView

PhpGedView parses GEDCOM 5.5 genealogy files and displays them on the Internet in formats and charts. It is designed to be a tool for online collaboration. All it requires to run is a PHP-enabled Web server and a Gedcom file.

Epoch is small and handy timeline applicatiion. The time scale is accurate in the range from 1sec to several million years. Events can be positioned absolutely or relatively linked to another era.

Genea

Genea is an database-driven application for storing person-related data of whole regions and creating family-trees. These can be printed, saved as image-files and exchange with other genealogy-applications utilizing the GEDCOM-format.

gedcom4j

The purpose of this project is to create a Java library for loading and saving GEDCOM files to/from a Java object heirarchy, which can be manipulated by your code as you see fit.

Geneapro

GeneaPro is a multi-user, cross-platform Genealogy database program based on the GenTech Genealogical Data Model. Written in Java using the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), Hibernate persistance, and SQL/JDBC databases (HSQLDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
