PyGlossary is a tool for working with dictionary databases(glossaries). Dictionary databases are some files that record definitions of many words(or phrases) about a certain subject or language. Any dictionary software reads one or more dictionary database to show results to the user. Dictionary ... [More] databases have various formats, that any dictionary software uses one (or more) of these formats. Anyone who uses a dictionary software, may need new dictionary databases that are not present in that dictionary format. There is too many dictionary databases that you can download from internet, but some of them are only in one format, or anyway not in your wanted format. Here you can use dictionary converters such as PyGlossary. PyGlossary is a perfect tool and also it have a GUI (bases on PyGTK) that simplify using it for the users. It can convert various formats together. It also can reverse a database(swap source language and target language) based on a reverse search on the database. PyGlossary can also edit a database(using DB Editor tab). "Preferences" tab is newly added to change, save and load some configuration. [Less]
