In particular, you can use it for preparation to the verbal parts of GRE and SAT. I am a non-native speaker, and this tool is improving my vocabulary every day. Sometimes I hear a recently learned word on the radio or read it in a newspaper and rejoice in greater understanding of the content. I saw these words before but filtered them out, comprehending only the general idea of the context. gvocab allows for greater satisfaction in everyday activities and helps to achieve educational goals. iVocThe best application for your vocabulary building and training on Jailbroken iPhone( In the future :) ) App FeaturesCurrently it has only one vocabulary, which is for my personal use, HongBao GRE 2007. There are 3 main features in Ver 1.0. A favorite words list storing the user`s most liked ... [More] words for viewing, memorizing and testing. A WordList tab to Browse vocabulary and view specific word. A Memory tab to help you remember words by doing a sort of self quiz and check the status of this Memory result. A Test tab to test vocabulary and can pause one(only one) test and save for continuing that next time you want to. Like Memory tab, it provides a simple page to show test result as well. TODOSince it is still fairly simple in 1.0, there are big amount of jobs we can do in future release. Below is the TODOs I want to add in to iVoc: ( If you have any interesting idea, please let me know ) Improve the layout and appearance of word viewing. (It is fairly simple now) A vocabulary building tool for making highly customized vocabulary per everyone`s different requirements. Let user be able to check and view their historical test and memory results to have more clear visions about their progress. Add a calendar feature to let user make learning plan and can alarm user as schedule. Better UI ( Sorry I am very dummy at art and have absolutely no idea on how to design an elegant and attractive User Interface. If you have a good idea about this, please share with me. It`s very appreciated. ) Publish this application as a free iPhone application to apple store if time and cost permits. If you have any comment or suggestion, please email me at wzx725725(at)gmail.com. [Less]
