nip2, the "free love child of Photoshop and Excel," is the GUI of vips. You don't directly edit images --- instead, like a spreadsheet, you build relationships between objects. nip2 actively manages these relationships: if you change an object property, the change is propagated ... OTB Applications

This package includes a set of applications for remote sensing image processing such as orthorectification, classification, object extraction... PSCTools

A collection of libraries and applications for mesh generation, generic programming (in C++), build management (with CMake), consistent user interfaces (OS/X, with Win32 and GTK forthcoming), and scene graph-based visualization. All source is written in C++, and requires a relatively recent compiler (e.g. gcc4 or Visual Studio 2003).
