The py-jasmine project will help journal editors to produce pdf file and publish it easily. The ultimate goal of this project is to help people setup a new form of collaboration to generate high quality content. We just began the project, and are seeking your helps! BackgroundThe background of ... [More] this project is that an emerging form of online collaboration is becoming popular in China in 2007. All readers must join an online group to receive new issues by email. Contributors have an online groups to discuss internal affairs. An email address is setuped for contributors to send articles to editors. The editors filter the articles and organize them into an issue in pdf format. The editors send a new issue to the readers' group. These kinds of collaboration is highly dependent on the email and group service. Although it is closed to the mass to some extend, we still think it will be useful for some part of the users. For these kinds of collaboration, the most burdensome work is the editor's work. So we want to make a tool to help the editors. Examples are Far And Wide Journal, Chinese Independent Reading Report and others.
