[More] InformationUltimately, the target hardware for the project is the Nokia n8x0 handheld (the n800 and the n810). Eventually the devices will connect to the EEL's ad-hoc mesh wireless network, and use OpenVPN to connect back to the IST network. Software DevelopmentInitially, development will be done for standard x86 systems, and the task of porting the application to the Maemo framework will be done when the code is in a more usable state. Code is written in C, and we use GTK+ and Glade for UI development, and Gstreamer to implement video/audio streams. [Less]
