Framework: We're going to develop the web application that based on the AppFuse. Strust2 + Spring + Hibernate will be selected as the main technology. It's mainly a Java based web application.
Main Funtion: 1. We will treat our users into two parts, the seller and the buyer. For different user group, the functions will be different. The seller can show his base information, just like his location, contact info, goods' description and so on. The buyer can show his idea on how to make up his house, where can buy the most useful things. For the seller, our web application is something like a yellow page, and for the buyer, our web application is something like a blog. 2. Why we provide such a yellow page for the seller? We're not going to just provide a simple yellow page for the seller, but a platform to let the seller to show his products and get much more information from the changing world. As we all know, information is changing every minute. The guy who can get the updated information at the first time, he will be able to make a good decision. A well designed web application can help the user to get and share the information more efficiency. Also, for each registered seller, we will generate some advices according to the information provided by the seller and other info that we record down in the web application. 3. For the buyer, what he can get from the web? The answer is the same: information. Information is one of the most important asset in the world. How and where to get the information become more and more important. Even we have lots of powerful search engine, but we still cannot get those information we need in a short time. Therefore, a professional web application is needed. 4. The most important function is develop a tool that can generate the image of the house after the buyer choose the material provided by the seller.
