ICAT is a database with a well defined API that provides an interface to Large Facility experimental data and will provide a mechanism to link all aspects of the research chain from proposal through to publication ICAT is developed as a collaboration between STFC eScience , STFC ISIS Facility , Diamond Light Source and the ILL.
A method to register a CBCT (Cone-Beam Computed Tomography) image using a MSCT (Multislice Computed tomography) image as reference. Both of images are from the palatal regions.
The Data Portal is a visual front-end to 1 or more ICAT (http://code.google.com/p/icatproject/) repositories.
The ICAT project hold the code for the database and the API layer of an Information catalog that hold metadata about the Synchrotron and Neutron data. This portal project would be based on EXT GWT. It is currently only a demonstrator of a possible interface.
