[Less]

I want to create a Tower Defense game entirely in Java. I welcome ideas and changes. Please note that until I get an alpha release finished, I will be the only one working on the project so I can learn more. Either way I welcome any comments and ideas that you may have to improve the project. ... [More] My lofty goal is to create a relatively small game that can be expanded as time progresses into a full game. The reason I wanted to start the project is I miss coding in the current stage of life and want a way to get back into it. Plus work got boring so I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I want to keep the project open source so encourage ideas and provide a starting place for those new programmers out there. [Less]

Automated Tower Defense (AutoTD) is a Tower Defense clone designed with the intention of allowing people to write code to automatically place and fire the towers. AutoTD was used for a coding contest at SAGAFest '09, but the program is now free for anyone to play around with, and the source is ... [More] available under the GPLv3 license. There are currently no executables available for download, so to use the program you will have to check out the source code and compile it yourself, and hope the current revision runs properly.
