wmii is a dynamic window manager for X11. It supports classic and dynamic window management with extended keyboard, mouse, and filesystem based remote control. It replaces the workspace paradigm with a new tagging approach. Its minimalist philosophy attempts to not exceed 10,000 lines of code ... [More] (including all shipped utilities and libraries), to enforce simplicity and clarity. [Less]

Conkeror is a Gecko (Mozilla Rendering Engine) based web browser designed to be completely keyboard driven, no compromises. It also strives to behave as much like Emacs as possible with a taste of Lynx. This means all the keybindings and to-die-for features of Emacs that can be imitated by a JavaScript/XUL web browser Just Work.

ratpoison is a Window Manager that puts that sick little rodent out of its misery. Enjoy ratpoison's smooth keyboard handling and slick performance. Don't worry about dependancies, 'cause there ain't none! And best of all, its GNOME incompliant!

XWEM is an attempt to build the ideal desktop. It is not a secret that Emacs is the most powerful environment one has used, but it lacks some real integration with desktop because it can't have control over everything. XWEM will try to break this barrier.

"A keyboard shortcut (or accelerator key, shortcut key, hot key, key binding, keybinding, key combo, etc.) is a key or set of keys that performs a predefined function. These functions can often be done via some other, more indirect mechanism, such as using a menu, typing a longer command ... [More] , and/or using a pointing device. By reducing such sequences to a few keystrokes, this can often save the user time, hence "shortcut"." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keybindings) Wouldn't it be nice to use such keyboard shortcuts on webpages? Usually it's hard to manage alot of shortcuts on a webpage. It is difficult for the developer to integrate new Bindings. wKeybindings should help with this, using the free library mootools. It is completely cross-browser and really easy to use. Have fun, nuit [Less]
