The project is intended to create formatted output files for LDIFDE and I may also create command lines for running the output files. The intention is to allow several different formatted inputs such as .csv or excel files.

This will search an entire LDAP directory and report on anomlies. For example, a multivalued "employeeStatus" is not normal in most enviornments. If you know how to FIX an entry, it will also produce a fix.ldif that can be imported later.

This utility will take an LDIF in standard in and will output a tab delimited file on standard out. Great for LDAP! Specify on the command line what attributes (in order) that you want in the resulting tab delimited file. For example: ./ldif2tab.pl dn givenname sn < my.ldif This command would ... [More] create a 3 column table where column 1 is the DN, colum 2 is the givenname and column3 is the sn. If there are multiple values for an attribute, the 1st value will be used. [Less]

Grubby is a framework to help you quickly generate random (or pseudo random) data to use for testing, etc. The data can be generated in the form of SQL INSERTs, CSV, or LDIF. Why does it not just load the data directly? When you have lot of data to upload (e.g. for performance testing with real ... [More] world volumes) then this can simply take too long. If you have files which contain your data then you can use the optimised tools which come with your datastore to do the loadnig for you. Much nicer. If you want to help out, please contact me. Otherwise, happy loading! [Less]
