libxml2

Libxml2 is the XML C parser and toolkit developed for the Gnome project (but usable outside of the Gnome platform). Includes the xmllint tool for checking documents for well-formedness, validating documents against a DTD or XML Schema, and pretty printing XML input.

libxslt

Libxslt is the XSLT C library developed for the GNOME project. It is based on libxml2 the XML C library developed for the GNOME project. It also implements most of the EXSLT set of processor-portable extensions functions and some of Saxon's evaluate and expressions extensions.

Libglade

Libglade is a library that performs a similar job to the C source output routines in the GLADE user interface builder. Whereas GLADE's output routines create C source code that must be compiled, libglade builds the interface from an XML file (GLADE's save format) at runtime. This can allow modifying the user interface without recompiling.
