AboutFTCS is a software to share your files with friends using client-server programme. It's easy to use. This software was released under GPLv3 license. This program is free software: you can ... [More] redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU General Public License for more details. You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License along with this program. If not, see It was written in Python, so there is no need to upload another package with source code ::). UsingInstallingYou have to install it as root. During the installation you will be shown GPLv3 license and README of FTC/S. Next, you have to put root directories of users, which apply to share files. To share files, you have to do "Share_Folder" directories in all given paths. Then, insert password for server (or not) and path to file for log. There is small bug in installation, so it's good to edit /etc/ftserv.conf file and make a free line between "USESPASSWORD" and path to log file. The file with root directories of users is /etc/ftall.conf. UsingWhen you run ftcs first time, its interface is in English. Another language to choose is Polish (pl.lang). You can change it in preferences of the programme. During the ftclient is running, the server works also. To run only client use programme "ftclient", and to use only server, use "ftserver". To shut down the server, use ftskill programme (from terminal). To share files with friends, put your chosen files into "Share_Folder" catalogue in you root directory. The ftserver reads files from all share_folders in given directories. [Less]
