mlocate is a new locate implementation. The ‘m’ stands for “merging”: updatedb reuses the existing database to avoid rereading most of the file system, which makes updatedb faster and does not trash the system caches as much. The locate(1) utility is intended to be completely compatible

Like the Linux "locate" and "updatedb", "winlocate" is a very simple solution for finding files and folders in a windows environment system. All is done by using 2 scripts (.BAT), some GNU tools and Sqlite3. I hope you will enjoy this release.
