This is a PHP/MySQL solution to CAN-SPAM compliant newsletter mailing list creation and management. It has a simple user entry form that can be used in any HTML webpage, a stand-alone web form, and a ... [More] simple back-end admin interface. My goals with this project are to take this application, and increase efficiency, double check security, decrease the core application footprint, while extending the flexibility without adding too many features or new options to the program's core. This is not to replace a real CRM application, it's to allow smaller websites to manage email blasts and subscribers. I attempted to contact the original developer of this GPL application for support and to report bugs and give bug fixes, no actions were taken. I've decided to take over the project, so that I can get input from others on slimming the core and extending it so it handles more languages, perhaps make the application pluggable, I may make the database a plug-in, so that the application starts off as a flat-file version that doesn't require MySQL.
