[More] Current Activity:GA:(10-19-09, Happy Halloween! well...almost) It's well over time for an update I think, not that there is anyone looking yet, but maybe that will change later this year. Things have been pretty hectic in the past few months. Consequently there has been very little work on UATEP lately. There have been some modifications to the plan made. First is that Eric4 has been scrapped as our IDE of choice, right now I have played with Wing 101 which may be used and I plan to also look at pydev in the near future. As the semester moves on I would like to work more on UATEP if possible, but classes make that increasingly difficult. Once December and winter break roll around both myself and Dail plan on working much more diligently on the project. To that end I would like to have the IDE definitely selected, and the rendering tests/test harness to be finished before then. (07-04-09, Happy Independence Day^^) I've been having some computer issues lately, the desktop had a hard-drive crash that still isn't fixed and the laptop has been ridiculously slow, to the point where I just can't stand to work much on it. Also Eric4 is acting up on the laptop and giving me all sorts of new headaches when I actually try to be productive. As a result I haven't gotten much done lately... I am working on a small documentation example using IDLE, hopefully when I do get Eric4 up and running again I should be able to run that through the doc generator and have an example of how Eric4 handles self-documentation (we should be able to use this example as a nice resource since the documentation on Eric4 itself is sketchy at best). Anyway, I hope to have the desktop back soon, when that happens I'm going to get up and running again as soon as possible. (06-08-09) I am currently working on learning/configuring the Eric4 IDE to use rather than Idle, this IDE has some features (including self-Documentation) that we're interested in using for the project. A more detailed report to come when research and learning with the new IDE is done.
