LottaNZB aims to simplify and automate the download of files from the Usenet. You can tell LottaNZB what to download using NZB files, which are created by many Usenet search engines. LottaNZB integrates nicely with GNOME desktops, but is not limited to them and uses the mature SABnzbd software as its foundation.
hellanzb is a Python application designed for *nix environments that retrieves nzb files and fully processes them. The goal being to make getting files from Usenet (e.g.: Giganews Newsgroups) as hands-free as possible.
KLibido is a KDE usenet news grabber for Linux.
nzb is a binary news grabber. It natively downloads, decodes and even streams the files specified in the .nzb file, an XML format which describes binary files on Usenet by their message-id. libnzb provides developers with useful nzb processing functions.
