Kino

Kino is a non-linear DV (digital video) editor for GNU/Linux. It features integration with IEEE-1394 for capture, VTR control, and recording back to the camera. Pihlaja

Pihlaja is going to be a scene based video and audio editor for atleast Linux. It's written in the D programming language, using gtkD, gtreamerD, Gnonlin and cairo. It is very much alpha and not yet usable for anything but testing and development.

Support for a wide variety of file formats and codecs 4. Well-thought, user-friendly interface 5. Cross-platform compatibility (and that includes Microsoft Windows(TM)!)
