Newznab

A PHP/Smarty application, which supports the indexing of usenet headers into a mysql database and provides a simple web based search interface onto the data. Similar in features to ikbin. Includes simple CMS facilities, SEO friendly URLs and designed with the intention of allowing users to create a community around their index.

LottaNZB

LottaNZB aims to simplify and automate the download of files from the Usenet. You can tell LottaNZB what to download using NZB files, which are created by many Usenet search engines. LottaNZB integrates nicely with GNOME desktops, but is not limited to them and uses the mature SABnzbd software as its foundation.

NZBGet

NZBGet is a command-line based binary newsgrabber for nzb files, written in C++. Supports client/server mode, automatic par-check/-repair and web-interface (via additional package). Requires low system resources and runs great on routers and NAS-devices.

hellaVCR is a PHP TV show downloader that integrates with hellanzb, sabnzbd+, or downloads raw NZB files. It uses TVRage to scrape TV show information, theTVDB for artwork, and Newzbin to figure out what to download. hellaVCR contains a command line PHP script to be run by the cron at regular ... Some advantages to hellaVCR over similar solutions already out there are its written in PHP, the front end interface looks awesome, it supports double episodes (i.e. x01-02), the ability to download an entire series from the start, email a summary of each batch, and tweeting each show as its queued.
