A reporting library for python. It provides a way to easily output many kind of different files (odt, ods, png, svg, ...). Adding support for more filetype is easy: you just have to create a plugin for this.
This plugin allows you to export a page to the OpenDocument format used by Open Office and other word processors. This is especially useful when you need to print or to give a single page to a customer (Hint: Open Office can also export to PDF).
The goal is to be able to convert Open Document produced with Open Office (.odt files) into reStructuredText file (.rst files). In particular to convert back the .odt files produced by rst2odt into .rst files. To let people review and modify .rst file using OpenOffice.
We have not started thsi project. The Aim of thsi project is to build a web based Open Document Viewer using javascript and xml parsing. Open Office format are xml based format which can be parsed and viewed over web.
The script is a class that represents an opendocument. Currently it can be a spreadsheet or a text document, but it's deadly easy to add the other types. It expects a decompressed version of the document in some django template dir (as defined on settings.py). It will render all xml files
