Apathy has been in off-and-off development since 1997. The 800-series releases of Apathy are essentially feature complete. The system is fairly straightforward: It is made up of a number of XHTML documents within the Doc folder. The main XHTML document is Apathy.xhtml which contains the core rules ... [More] and "references" and "summaries" (links) to the raw-data contained in the (other) XHTML files within that directory. An exact specification of the raw-data formats is forthcoming, but simply looking at them should give a fairly good idea. The Tools directory contains several python scripts for managing the data. Most importantly is the "build_doc.py" script which can convert the contents of the Doc directory either into a webpage or into a LaTeX2e document. Making the game requires pdflatex and (at least) python2.5, but not more than the 2.X-series of python (the scripts are incompatible with python3). To make the game simply call "make" in the root directory. If you want to learn more about Apathy, download and read the document, itself. [Less]

This project aims to create a software that will help characters management of the D&D 3.5 role playing game. Ideally, it'll provide the user with the ability to create a character of a given class and guide him through the creation process including the spells selections, equipement ... [More] selections and so on with support of new level and gold (etc, etc...). It should make easy content sharing between people (people sharing different contents like equipements, characters, spells using files or something else) so that community contents can be created. The software will be multiplateform written using C++ and the Qt framework with a mysql-embedded database. Status: Nothing works & nearly nothing is coded, the project is at an early stage of development. [Less]
