The RDB-lite package provides the ability to embed functions within C/C++ applications that can then be invoked remotely via a stand-alone command line client program (called "rdbl"). The command format is that of a single keyword with optional arguments (think Unix command line), unlike the full RDB which provides for a multi-keyword command format via the building of a tree based keyword structure (think Cisco CLI).
