The Connector Manager is the central part of the connector framework for the Google Search Appliance. The Connector Manager itself manages creation, instantiation, scheduling and monitoring of connectors that supply content and provide authentication and authorization services to the Google Search Appliance. Note: This system depends on Google Search Appliance 5.0 (Minimum recommended configuration is 5.0.4G22 with VM Patch #1). Connectors developed for this framework will NOT work with previously released versions of the Google Search Appliance. Update: Connector Manager release 2.4.4 is now available on the Downloads page. This is a patch release that fixes several small problems discovered in the previous release. Users of previous releases are encouraged to upgrade. For details, see the Release Notes.
