This plugin by itself does not perform duplicate code detection, rather it delegates the work to other well known tools. Right now, the plugin supports Simian out of the box. I am hoping to support more such tools in the future. If you like to use some other tool, do let me know. You can use this plugin to find duplicates in the following types of files: Java, C#, C++, C, Objective-C, JavaScript COBOL, ABAP, Ruby, Lisp, SQL, Visual Basic, Groovy Basically, it supports any file which will by supported by the tool you are going to run. You need JDK 1.5 or higher to run this plugin Installation InstructionsIf you are using eclipse 3.4 or higher, please perform the following installation instructions, Open your eclipse installation directory. You should find a folder called 'dropins' Create a folder called 'plugins' inside this folder.(if its already there, leave it) Drop the vanaraha.jar file into this folder and restart your eclipse!
