This project is mostly dead. It was to learn how to create a provider in Lightning, not to be a viable alternative to using an iCal calendar online. You can then right click on "Download iCal File" and click "Copy Link Location". In Thunderbird/Sunbird create a new network calendar (iCal) and paste the URL you copied in.
