The xterm program is a terminal emulator for the X Window System. It provides DEC VT102 and Tektronix 4014 compatible terminals for programs that can't use the window system directly.

Unlike many mud clients it also supports char-by-char mode and therefor it can be used to access programs, such as vim, and play games like NetHack (with DECGraphics and all the colour one wants). ssh terminal that has nice aesthetics and analog feelings. Motivation: I feel uncreative when I have to use terminal apps. It makes me feel like I'm working in a world of 0s and 1s. Its so digital. There are bunch of ssh terminals out there but I couldnt find the one that makes me feel good ... [More] using it.
