X.Org

X.Org provides an open source implementation of the network-transparent X Window System, as well as working on the standard itself. The development work is being done as part of the freedesktop.org community, sponsored by the X.Org Foundation.

Xfce (Core)

Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and low on system resources, while still being visually appealing and user friendly. This Ohloh project only contains the core components of Xfce!

Fluxbox is a lightweight and highly configurable window manager with pwm-like tabs.

Xming

Xming is the leading free unlimited X Window server for Microsoft Windows (XP/2003/Vista). It is fully featured, small and fast, and fully integrated into MS Windows environment.

wmiirc-lua

Wmiirc-lua is a replacement of the wmiirc that comes with wmii-3.5 (and later) with a lua script. This removes the fork/exec overhead of the shell script that is used to control the wmii window manager. The long term goal of the project is to duplicate features from the wmii+ruby project.

QuickTile

A simple tool for adding WinSplit-style window-tiling keybindings to X11 (Linux/BSD/etc.) desktops without replacing the existing window manager.

Unagi Compositing Manager

Unagi is a modular compositing manager which aims to be efficient, lightweight and responsive. It is currently written in C programming language and based on XCB library client library. EPIwm Window Manager

EPIwm is a window manager. It is intended to be small, fast, and configurable while maintaining a large feature set.
