The 960 Grid System is an effort to streamline web development workflow by providing commonly used dimensions, based on a width of 960 pixels. The 12 column grid is divided into portions that are 60 pixels wide. The 16 column grid consists of 40 pixel increments. Each column has 10 pixels of ... [More] margin on the left and right, which create 20 pixel wide gutters between columns. The premise of the system is ideally suited to rapid prototyping, but it would work equally well when integrated into a production environment. There are printable sketch sheets, design layouts, and a CSS file that have identical measurements. [Less]

Other CSS frameworks try to do everything—grid system, style reset, basic typography, form styles. But complex systems are, well, complex. Looking for a simple, lightweight approach that doesn't require a PhD? Meet The 1KB CSS Grid.

With typeface.js you can embed custom fonts in your web pages so you don't have to render text to images. Instead of creating images or using flash just to show your site's graphic text in the font you want, you can use typeface.js and write in plain HTML and CSS, just as if your visitors had the font installed locally.

Genau da will SocialWebdesign ansetzen. [Less]

Canvas is a GUI drag and drop layout editor for the Wordpress blogging system. It breaks themes into widgets of content for dynamic management of blog presentation. Recent updates have been made to improve Canvas compatibility with WP 2.6. Some blocks that relied on categories need TLC, and there ... [More] are remaining issues with dragging blocks from the shelf. Canvas is no longer being actively developed by Karsten and Yasser, but we would like to find a new team to continue its growth. Let us know if you are interested! [Less]
