A free library providing windowing and widgets for graphics APIs / engines where such functionality is not natively available, or severely lacking. The Irrlicht Engine is a high performance real-time 3D engine written and usable in C++, and also available for .NET languages. It is completely cross-platform, using D3D, OpenGL, and its own software renderers.

UltraDefrag is powerful defragmentation tool for Microsoft Windows. It is very fast, because the defragmenting is done by kernel-mode driver. There are three interfaces: graphical, console and native. The GUI is very useful, because it represents the filesystem visually as a color coded cluster map.
