aptosid (formerly sidux) is an operating system based on the Linux kernel, Debian's most modern branch (called "Sid") and many free and open source applications.

Xfce Terminal

Terminal is a modern terminal emulator for the Unix/Linux desktop - primarily for the Xfce desktop environment. It is a lightweight emulator based on the VTE widget, easy to use and provides an optional drop-down window (game-console style).

Cygwin Ports

This project provides Cygwin binary and source packages for a large variety of programs and libraries, including the GNOME and KDE desktop environments.

Hadron Project

Hadron is a source-based GNU/Linux distribution which is designed for power users. At the same time, Hadron follows KISS principles. Main power of Hadron comes from lpms, which is a new package manager designed with Python. lpms uses scripts to build packages (like Gentoo's Portage) and ... [More] noticeably fast. We re-implemented some old features, because we didn't want to use and fix the spaghetti stuff. StormOS is the first distribution based on Nexenta Core Platform 2.0 RC1 which combines the power of the Solaris kernel with the ease of use of Ubuntu. StormOS aims to be a lightweight OS with everything the average user would want out-of-the-box.

salix

Salix is a linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple and easy to use. Salix aims to be completely backwards compatible with Slackware, so Slackware users can benefit from Salix repositories.

Garcon

Garcon is an implementation of the freedesktop.org menu specification replacing the former Xfce menu library libxfce4menu. It is based on GLib/GIO only and aims at covering the entire specification except for legacy menus.
